A useful website about Typography

Perception of Fonts: Perceived Personality Traits and Uses (http://psychology.wichita.edu/surl/usabilitynews/81/PersonalityofFonts.htm)
The Perception of Fonts website provides information on the results of a study that sought to determine if fonts have personality traits.

To do so, the researchers surveyed over 500 people on their perceived attributes of 20 fonts of different family types (Serif, Sans-Serif, Modern, Monospace, Script/Funny).

The survey results suggested that indeed fonts do have personality traits based on their design family.

The Art School Online - Color Theory & Mixing website provides 16 lessons in colour theory including: the colour wheel, the history of colour, the meaning of colour, colour psychology, and the importance of value in colour. The lessons are very hands-on, requiring the student to complete practical drawing and painting exercises.
